Randol on Azure

Randol provides the capabilities to rapidly build, deploy and operate secure enterprise solutions. Your cloud provides the infrastructure, scalability and reliability to run them, while you retain control of your applications, services and data.

Why Cloud Matters

Cloud is the control plane for reliable, scalable AI runtime operations. Randol uses Azure services to keep runtime components healthy, secured and observable while adapting capacity to real demand.

Full environment management and one-click deployment are available once resource group connections are configured.

Operational Coverage

  • Provisioning of runtime infrastructure and supporting services
  • Lifecycle management for deployments, updates and rollback
  • Identity, secret handling and policy-driven access controls
  • Observability, alerts and cost visibility across environments

Key Features and Azure Services

Each Randol capability maps to a corresponding Azure service, showing how your platform supports secure runtime execution and operations.

Randol Feature

1. Identity and access security

Secure your Randol portal, applications and services through centrally managed identities and permissions. Authenticate users, define role-based access and control which capabilities, data and operations each user or agent can access.

Azure Resource

Microsoft Entra ID

Provides identity management, single sign-on, OAuth 2.0 and application registrations. Supports secure authentication for the Randol portal and deployed applications, with identity tokens used to enforce Randol's application and service-level permissions.

Randol Feature

2. Rapid service and system-of-record development

Services are the backbone of Randol. Rapidly build independent microservices that act as complete systems of record, combining business logic, data access, security and automatically exposed APIs and MCP tools. Use AI-assisted development to create, refine and deploy services without the traditional development overhead.

Azure Resource

Azure Container Apps

Each Randol service is deployed to its own dedicated Azure Container App for each environment. This provides independent deployment, versioning and autoscaling, with container networking and integration with Azure identity services supporting secure and scalable execution.

Randol Feature

3. Automated data management

Every system of record needs reliable data persistence. Randol automatically manages the underlying document-oriented data stores used by your services. Configure database connections once, then create and manage separate data stores for individual services and environments, without repetitive database setup or integration code.

Azure Resource

Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB on Azure

Provides managed document database infrastructure for Randol services with deployment options across Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB on Azure. Supports flexible document storage, indexing, replication and scalable persistence, while keeping connections centrally configured and data logically separated across services and environments.

Randol Feature

4. Event-driven services and automation

Build responsive, loosely coupled solutions using event-driven architecture. Randol services can publish and consume business events, while orchestrations can react to events and coordinate further activities. Easily connect independent services and processes without introducing complex point-to-point dependencies.

Azure Resource

Azure Service Bus

Provides the reliable messaging backbone for Randol's event-driven capabilities. Queues, topics and subscriptions enable asynchronous communication between services and orchestrations, with durable messaging, retry handling and dead-letter queues supporting resilient processing.
